How to copy/submit a previous application to a new position?

Your application is saved each time you apply for a position within APU's SilkRoad. You can submit a previous application (copy) to a new position. i.e. Faculty to Adjunct, Staff to staff, etc. Here is how:

  1. Identify the position that you would like to apply for. For example, you could for an adjunct faculty position: How to apply for a SON Adjunct Faculty position
  2. At the bottom of the application is a box with Apply. Select 'Existing Resume' mceclip1.png
  3. Follow the submission instructions and click continue.
  4. The following page requires you to Check for Existing Resume. Insert your email address and password, then select 'Check Records' mceclip2.png
  5. Next, verify and select 'Submit this Profile' mceclip4.pngmceclip3.png
  6.  Complete the following prompts until you complete the application.
  7. When done, you should immediately receive an email confirmation that APU's Human Resources received your application.
