Adjunct faculty who believe they should have received an adjunct contract can follow the following steps:

  1. You must be an active adjunct faculty. (You are active adjunct faculty if you completed HR's New Hire Paperwork and I9 documentation. If you are unsure, please read: Adjunct Faculty Hiring Process (School of Nursing)
  2. Next, verify your assignments in TAMS. Assignments must be in TAMS for a contract to generate. These assignments come from your SON Department Chair. For more information: How to Log into TAMS. If the assignment is not in TAMS, please contact your Department Chair and ask that it be added to TAMS.
  3. Contracts come from [email protected] to your APU email account unless it is your first contract.
  4. If you have an assignment and have yet to receive the contract, please email [email protected]

If you have are expecting an experiential learning (Skills, VLE, Simulation) contracts, please see below:

  • In an effort to simplify and eliminate multiple rate codes for experiential learning adjunct faculty, only 1 experiential learning contract will be generated each semester. This contract can be used to record hours for all experiential learning assignments (Skills, VLE, Simulation) regardless of location or course or if it is Skills/VLE/Simulation/Lab.
  • You can tell if it's a simulation contract by the course note "All assignments will be managed in TAMS". You will not be receiving a separate contract for each experiential learning assignment.
