Complio has updated the requirements for Fall 2023. 

CastleBranch Questions

• Where do we find the PPE Confirmation of Participation and how do we upload the certificate into CastleBranch/Complio?
  • The PPE Confirmation of Participation is not required for the 2023-2024 academic year. 
• Where do we find the COVID-19 Certificate and how do we upload the certificate into CastleBranch/Complio?
  • The COVID-19 Certificate is not required for the 2023-2024 academic year. 
• I uploaded the Aerosol Transmissible Disease Certificate but it was rejected.
  • We are working with Castlebranch to update the Aerosol Transmission requirement to the new Canvas course. 
• When will the CastleBranch requirements be updated?
  • CastleBranch has now updated the requirements.
  • Once the requirements have been updated for 2023-2024, students will need to log back into CastleBranch and complete the two Covid-19 Vaccination questions and upload the Aerosol Transmissible Disease Certificate.
• I completed the Implicit Bias Canvas course last year, do I need to complete it again?
  • No, you do not need to complete the entire course. If you have already completed the Culturally Competent Nursing portion, then you only need to complete CLAS in Maternal Health Care section. If you have not completed Culturally Competent Nursing, then you will need to complete both modules. This requirement is for pre-licensure and NP students only.
• Where do I upload the Implicit Bias Canvas Certificate into CastleBranch/Complio?
  • You do not need to upload the Implicit Bias Canvas Certificate into CastleBranch/Complio. Follow the instructions in the Canvas course to complete the course.
• Do I need to pay $5 for the COVID-19 NDPH to upload into CastleBranch/Complio?
  • No, you do not. You only need to upload the certificate to CastleBranch/Complio that is generated in Canvas after the completion of the Aerosol Transmissible Diseases (including SARS CoV) Canvas course. 
• Do I need to get the COVID-19 bivalent vaccine?
  • APU does not require COVID vaccination or boosters for our students; however, students who provide services in our clinical partner facilities must follow the facility’s health and onboarding requirements. Students are not guaranteed clinical placements when they do not meet our clinical partners' needs. You will be notified if a clinical site requires COVID vaccinations.
